PHISHING Phishing is the act of sending an email to a user falsely claiming to be an established legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft. The email directs the user to visit a web site where they are asked to update personal information such as: passwords, credit card numbers and account information. The web site is bogus and is set up to steal the user's information. If you receive an email regarding your AFCU account, treat it with suspicion. AFCU will never ask for your account information over the internet. Please call us if you receive a request so that we can investigate it. For more information on phishing, Click Here
OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE SERVICE Have you ever...made a mistake in your checkbook? Forgotten to record a purchase or withdrawal? Had the embarrassment and expense of a returned check? CDCU now provides an overdraft privilege service, also known as ODP. ODP is available on personal checking accounts that are maintained in good standing. Rather than automatically returning any unpaid insufficient fund items that you may have, we will consider, without obligation on our part, payment of your reasonable overdrafts. ODP can allow you to overdraw your account up to $500. Our normal non-sufficient funds will apply to each item that would create an overdraft on your account. Restrictions do apply. Call for details!
